Review The Hunger Games Trilogy
The hunger games trilogy in my opinion is one of the greatest films of all time. In summary the Hunger games was where the Capitol of Panem maintains its hold on its 12 districts by forcing them each to select a boy and a girl, called Tributes, to compete in a nationally televised event called the Hunger Games. Every citizen must watch as the youths fight to the death until only remains. When watching the trilogy being sucked in and entertained by this story is something that happens. When watching these movies I feel connected to the story line, characters, and feelings the movie gives off.
The movie has great characters as well as great casting of the parts that truly helped portray the story perfectly. For example a character that helped the story was the casting of Woody Harrelson for Haymitch Abernathy. The way that Harreslson plays this character is truly breathtaking. He brings out so much more to Haymitch’s personality.
Suzzane Collins, the author of the book and creator said her inspiration for the book was while she was channel surfing on television and saw people competing on a game show and on another station the wars of Iraq. She said the two began to blur together. The story line that she created has originality as well as a captivating story line. The story shows heartbreak, betrayal, family, love, war, as well as many other themes.
The ending of the trilogy also has a great ending with a satisfying end and epilogue. We are able to see the peace that was brought to the country as well as many of our favorite characters.
The Hunger Games in my opinion has amazing characters, originality, and a satisfying ending. The hunger games are very captivating and always leave you wanting more.
