You know her. You love her. Julie Dennis is a phenomenal cheerleader here at Mountain Crest! Julie has been cheering for a long time. She said, “I was a competitive gymnast for 11 years since I was four, and then I quit that and I tried to learn cheer cause I like stunting and I fell in love with it when I first made the team” Julie loves this sport. She goes on to say that she loves it because of the stunting. She said, “Stunting was like a whole new element that I really liked.” On the cheer team, Julie is a secondary base. Her job is to hold the flyer at the foot in order to support them. She also really likes the aspect of flips. In the future, Julie would really like to cheer for BYU. In order to achieve that goal, she is trying to learn more challenging skills to prepare to cheer at a college level. She is amazing!
