Its October, which means halloween, which means scare houses. About 40-50,000 people go to haunted houses each year. The question is which one is the best? We will be comparing Asylum 49, Fear Factory, and 10 west scare house.

The first scare house we will be talking about is Asylum 49. This scare house in located in Tooele, Utah which is about 2 hours away from cache valley. It costs $35 for general admission with contact and takes about 30 minutes to get through the whole thing. This scare house has no mercy when it comes to the touch pass. They can do whatever they want like take you away from your group, choke you, throw you to the ground ect. So I would read the rules if you are worried about anything. A lot of the time they will pick people from the group and take them away and you will have to go through it alone or you will get taken to a room.

The next scare house is Fear Factory. Fear Factory is located in Salt lake City, Utah which is an hour and 15 minutes away from cache valley. It takes about 35-40 minutes to get through the whole thing. It cost 27$ to get in with general admission and they have a touch pass also. They have a normal night and also lights out night. There touch pass is not as intense as Asylum 49 but it still manages to be really creepy.

The last one is 10th West Scare House located in Logan Utah. It is about 10 min away or less depending on where you live in cache valley. It costs $20 to get in for the full attraction, it has an indoor house and an outdoor. It takes about 10 minutes to go through each one. Most actors are people from our valley including teens. It also includes a picture that they take of you while your in the attraction. This scare house does not have a touch pass it is just a walk through.

Out of all of these the scariest one is Fear Factory with the touch pass on a lights out night. But if your looking for a real rush and are ok with being separated and taken Asylum 49 is the place for you. And If your lookin for a more family friendly place then go to 10th West.
